I am an abstract painter in oils. 

 

Recently I have moved away from painting yachts racing, although they do creep back into my work, to more abstracted seascapes.   

 

Working with oils on canvas I apply and move the paint around the surface with a selection of palette knives and other tools, but rarely brushes, which enables me to develop a variety of textures in a light and optimistic colour palette.
