I have drawn and painted since childhood and went on to study Fine Art at Newcastle.

 

Over the years my work has become more semi abstract, I like to paint whatever is around me and experiment with colour, light, shape and mark making, allowing the work to take on a life of its own. 

 

The landscape of the New Forest and the Solent has increasingly found its way into my work as a starting point.
